Here is the third and final sharpshooting badge from a 1930s Japanese middle school.

obverse
This is another wonderful design. A lion’s head is superimposed on a row of bullets, but it looks like the bullets are coming out of his mouth. The kanji reads ‘Prize’ or ‘Award.’

reverse
The inscription reads ‘1935, Hyogo Prefecture, Middle School Championship Sharpshooting Tournament, Held at [??A place name I cannot read] Sharpshooting Range, Sponsored by Kobe Industrial University Sharpshooting Club.’ Note that this inscription is the same as that on the badge shown in my previous post. However, this badge is dated two years later.
